Erlend - Stranger

An intimate circus solo with stunning effect.

The versatile performer and artist Jindřich Kopidol has been active in the world of contemporary circus and street art for many years and has taken the virtuosity of his balancing disciplines such as tightrope walking, balancing ladder and rola bola to the next level through intensive study of various physical theatre techniques, dance and ways of working with expressive masks. He has been working with Cirkus Trochu Jinak, z.s. since 2016, where he also works as a qualified rigger.

Jan Jirák is a performer, acrobat, choreographer and director. He studied at the Academy of Modern Circus in Denmark and at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He is a co-founder of Feel the Universe Circus Company. He founded the Prague Handstand School, a project dedicated to the development and education of professionals and the general public in hand balancing, flexibility, dance acrobatics and movement flow. He is a lecturer at the Department of Nonverbal Theatre at the Prague Academy of Performing Arts.

Ostrava's Cirkus Trochu Jinak is a creative, artistic company that has been profiling itself in the field of contemporary circus and street theatre since 2006. It creates professional productions, street performances, educational and cultural programs for the general public.
