Health clown at Letná Letná
This year, you can also look forward to a clown ambulance at Letná Letná, where the Health Clowns will "examine" and possibly "treat" you. We welcome not only patients suffering from momentary depression, but also those who want to improve their already good mood. The clowns will prescribe laughing medicine and especially the frequent and consistent wearing of a red nose.
Want to donate to the Health Clown? Purchase a benefit ticket to support the work of the Health Clown charity, which has been helping pediatric and geriatric patients go through the treatment process with a smile since 2001.
How to do it?
1) I want to contribute 100 CZK
Choose any paid performance from the 'Headliners', 'Czech Scene' and 'Children's Scene' categories. Make your purchase as usual and add the Contribution for the Health Clown from Additional Services in your basket with your tickets.
2) I want to buy a benefit ticket
Choose any paid performance from the 'Headliners' category. These include PIC by Surnatural Orchestra & Cirque Inextremiste, Entre Chiens et Louves by Cirque Le Roux, Concerto pour deux Clowns by Les Rois Vagabonds and #Since1994 by Eye Catching Circus.
In the case of PIC, Concerto pour deux Clowns and #Since1994, the procedure is simpler. Here you choose a date that suits you, click on buy and add a fundraising ticket to your basket for 1890 - 1990 Kč.
For the Entre Chiens et Louves show, it's a little more complicated because of the numbered seating. But you can do it, don't worry! Just pick a date and a venue you like from the schedule (in the price range up to 1000 CZK). Use the 'Choose your discount' button in your basket to convert a regular ticket into a fundraising ticket for the price of 1990 - 2250 CZK.
At the end of the checkout process you proceed as you are used to.
Health Clown
The Health Clown, Inc. is a non-profit organization that has been bringing humor and joy to hospitalized children, seniors and others in need in the healthcare field since 2001. In doing so, it contributes to improving their mental and overall health through visits from specially trained Health Clowns. There are 94 professional Health Clowns in the Czech Republic who regularly visit 66 hospitals, 11 homes for the elderly and 1 hospice. For more information visit www.zdravotniklaun.cz or https://www.facebook.com/zdravotniklaun/.
Programmes for children, seniors and adults suitably complement medical procedures and stimulate young and old patients to take an active approach to life and positive thinking. At the same time, the Health Clown's activities have a targeted effect on the social sensitivity of children and young people. The Health Clown encourages them to help others across all generations and spreads the basic idea of helping as a completely natural part of everyone's life.
